In Preston

I made it up to Preston a couple of hours ago. Definitely a long drive from London, but I had a quick wander around Moor Park first before heading to my hotel. No surprise - they wouldn't let me in to the festival grounds, and I didn't fancy my chances with getting around the security. I'm pretty tired from the drive up, so I think I'll just have a quiet night tonight, so I'm fresh for tomorrow. There's going to be plenty to do.

Like I said yesterday, Violet in Perplex City has the info on how we can stop Cyrus. Basically, we need to be on the look out for Frozen Indigo Angel symbols at the festival. Dan's setting up a page on this blog so I can have a feed of all the FIA photos that you guys send in tomorrow, along with all the texts I'm getting. It'll be a great way for people at home to help out, and it should be online pretty soon.

Of course I'll also be making regular video blog updates over the weekend so you can see how things are going. I just hope I'll have good news for you.

Paul,

Ugrent news! Just seen Cyrus at 53 degrees. He was pissed as a fart and dancing the makarana to the Black Bikini Specials at 23:15. He told me where the first device was. I'll be in touch with further details.. aha!

BIG WEEKEND - FESTIVAL SAVED!

In April and May 2007, I claimed there was a cover-up at the BBC to do with the words 'Frozen Indigo Angel'. It was all part of an Alternate Reality Game run by Radio 1 and the guys behind Perplex City - in fact, I encountered a character or two from Perplex City myself.

During the game, we gave away tickets to the Big Weekend, musical instruments belonging to major bands, and introduced thousands of people to a whole new world. All for free.

If you'd like to re-live the adventure, check out my first video, and then watch the rest.
